Who can participate?
Participation is reserved exclusively to people who are 18 years of age or older and are physically located in the province of Quebec when purchasing tickets. You do not have to be a Quebec resident to participate; tourists who are only visiting can also take part in our raffles. Please note that our transactional website uses geo-fencing technology to ensure you are in the province, so make sure to enable location sharing on your device or browser to allow sale.

What are the prizes?
The Grand Prize amount represents 50% of the total amount raised and advertised (Grand Prize). In the event that an early bird or secondary prize is added to a draw, details of the prize, its value and the details of the draw will be posted on the Foundation's website and printed on the participant's ticket.
Can I win more than one prize?
Absolutely! When you buy your tickets before the draw date for an early bird prize, your numbers are valid for all remaining early bird prizes, as well as the grand prize money, until the main draw closes. The earlier you buy your tickets, the more prizes you can win!
How can I purchase my tickets?
Tickets for the draw can be purchased at 5050.canadiens.com until the end of each Montreal Canadiens home game.
When purchasing tickets online, you must use one of the following types of cards: Visa, Visa Debit, Mastercard, Mastercard Debit and American Express are accepted. Other methods of mobile payment, such as Apple Pay, Google Wallet and Shop Pay, are also available.
How will I receive my tickets?
After finalizing your online transaction, you will automatically receive an email confirmation with your digital tickets attached. Make sure to enter your email address correctly with no errors when purchasing to ensure you receive your tickets.
Can I play more than once in the same raffle?
Yes, you can make more than one transaction per draw, as long as the draw is always open - so you can play from anywhere, as often as you like!
Can I win more than one prize?
Absolutely! Your chances of winning multiple prizes increase with each ticket you purchase. When you purchase more than one ticket, all associated ticket numbers are valid for all prizes. If your ticket number is drawn for one prize, it will still be valid for the other prizes. Good luck, and may the odds be ever in your favor!
Where can I find the winning number and what happens if I win?
The winning numbers for each prize drawn will be posted on the "Winners" tab of 5050.canadiens.com after the draw closes.
A member of the Canadiens Children's Foundation team will contact the purchasers of the winning tickets, using the contact information provided at the time of purchase. If your ticket contains the winning number, you can also contact us by e-mail at email@example.com, enclosing your ticket as proof.
How long do winners have to collect their prize?
Winners have fourteen (14) business days to claim their prize. The person with the winning number will be contacted by a Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation representative as soon as the draw is made.
Each winner of a draw must provide the Canadian Children's Foundation with all information required by provincial gaming regulations. By claiming the prize, the winner gives the Foundation the right to publish his or her name and the prize won. All prizes unclaimed after fourteen (14) business days will be returned to the recipient organizations.
À what are the profits from the draw used for?
Funds raised will benefit Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation, whose mission is to encourage physical activity and the adoption of healthy lifestyle habits among disadvantaged young people aged 4 to 17.
What are my chances of winning?
Chances of winning depend on the total number of tickets sold at the time of the draw.
How long does it take to receive my tickets?
Tickets are generally sent to your e-mail address within 5 minutes of payment. There are several reasons beyond our control, including high sales volume, that may cause a delay in receiving your tickets by email. Please ensure that you do not enter your e-mail address incorrectly at the time of purchase to ensure that you receive your tickets, and check your junk mail if you still have not received them within a few hours of your transaction. However, in the event that you still have not received your tickets by e-mail within one hour of the transaction, please send us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I think I misspelled my email address when I purchased my tickets. What do I do?
If such an error occurs, please contact us at email@example.com, making sure to include your full name and contact details so that we can trace your transaction.
Is the prize taxable and is the purchase of a raffle ticket tax deductible?
Raffle winnings are not taxable in Quebec. However, no official tax receipt will be issued for the purchase of raffle tickets, as required by the Canada Revenue Agency, since the ticket gives the purchaser a chance to win and is not a charitable donation.
Am I able to get a refund?
All ticket sales are final. There will be no refunds issued to anyone for any reason. All tickets purchased and entered into the draw cannot be refunded, including if ticket purchaser made an error in selecting the number of tickets they wished to purchase.
Can I gift my tickets?
Tickets are non-transferrable. The prize will be awarded to the individual whose name appears as purchasing the ticket.
